About My Photography
My Philosophy:
I can't count how many people I hear complain about the cost of wedding photography– four thousand dollars, five thousand dollars, and up - It’s sheer craziness. I have been involved in the arts and photography for almost two decades now, and these prices stun me too. Heck, you can buy your own professional photography equipment for less than what a typical wedding shoot costs. This highway robbery sounded ridiculous to me, and got my gears turning. What if I offered quality photography for less than everyone else? Is it necessary to charge four thousand dollars for a five hour shoot? I thought there was no way. Heck, I love photography so much I have shot friends for free. Not to mention, I felt my work was better than the guys charging the ridiculous fees. So, I decided to flip the industry on its lid with this concept - discount event photography which gives you complete flexibility. Here is how it works: I only charge a $399 flat fee for the shoot – that’s it. I let you decide what extras you want: digital processing, quality prints, coffee table books, art albums, digital negatives, proof books for your friends, Photoshop Pro CS manipulation, etc. The choice is completely yours to make. There are no gimmicks or catches, and no pressure from me. You decide what fits your budget. It is that simple.
